Rejecting the Socialist Narrative
By Alex Gaskill, Jan 13, 2010.
From the moment of the first news report about the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, where thirteen people were wounded and six others died, the leftist media, and leftists in government have done nothing but point their bony finger at those they fear, conservatives. It would be easy here to point out all the facts that prove Jared Loughner was anything but a conservative. His embrace of the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf are alone enough to prove Loughner was no conservative. A conservative by the very nature of their philosophy reject the messages of the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf. Such texts are guidelines for tyranny and extol the use of government to execute an iron fist against the will, personal freedom, and the very life of the individual. In fact, those who embrace such works are by definition enemies of those who embrace republican government (such as is guaranteed by Article IV Sect 4 of the US Constitution), as exampled by the actions of Jared Loughner in Tucson Saturday 8 Jan 2011.
Within the finger pointing of the leftists, Rep. Brady (D – PA) and Rep. Louise Slaughter (D – NY) are embedded examples of their destructive philosophy. These examples include use of the FCC to take control of speech over the airwaves to conform to leftist dogma, and restrictions on speech and symbols that do not conform to leftist sensibilities. We have been made keenly aware that leftists believe the message of freedom is a threat to them as exampled by Rep. Clyburn (D-SC) who cited the reading of the Constitution on the House floor as an "uncalled for" threat, and Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) who desires enhanced security measures for elected officials removing them from the connection, and responsibility to their constituents, and useful idiot Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) who now calls for gun control.
Symbols that threaten leftists
It is easy to give examples of the symbols leftists call "threatening" when we see students kicked out of school for wearing the American flag on their tee shirts, or leftists burning the flag in their so-called “protests,” and calling the American flag a symbol of racism etc. Of course, one has to include any other flag or symbol that some random leftist perceives as a threat to their onslaught, such as the Gadsden flag, the Christian flag, or any other symbol embraced by conservatives. Simply put, the Constitution, liberty and freedom, as held in the symbolism of the American flag, are a threat to tyranny, a threat to the slave state, and a threat to government oppression. It is no wonder those who rail against American freedom frame their arguments with calls for curbs on free speech, and criminalizing symbols of liberty and justice. These uniquely American expressions are a threat to totalitarians who seek to push people into cages and chains. Are American patriots weak? Is the Constitution a thing not to be defended? Hardly! To be precise, Liberty and freedom, the Constitution and Americanism are a threat to people like Jared Loughner who robbed people of their right to life and liberty, and robbed the families of the fallen of their flesh and blood, their peace of mind, and the lives they had built. The threat of Americanism to Jared Loughner is that he will be tried for his crimes, and if justice is practiced by the court, he will be sentenced to the death having forfeited his right to life and liberty when he pulled the trigger on the innocent.
Controlling the Narrative
The only way the enemies of freedom can be successful is for freedom loving people to sit by and allow the socialists to go unchallenged, to stay silent, and to allow the totalitarians to control the narrative. When totalitarians control the narrative they gain a leverage point at which they control speech, they make talk of "overthrowing tyranny," "liberty," "freedom," and "individuality" the voice of the "madman," and label it "violent rhetoric" and "inflammatory language." On all points, totalitarians are opposed by liberty minded people, by individuals who maintain personal responsibility framed in a moral ethic and moral worldview, who will not be silenced, become submissive, nor give in to the false narrative.
Conclusion
People like Jared Loughner who use violence to rob people of their liberty and freedom, and totalitarians who seek to use the sword of the state to accomplish the same are both threats to freedom loving people and the civil order. Neither must be allowed to get away with their deeds. For the killer, the sword of the state will operate in its proper function, to protect the citizenry by removing a totalitarian from society. For the embedded totalitarians in government, steadfast rejection of their every word and deed will be necessary until they are removed from office by the will of the people. Jared Loughner was above all things a totalitarian, a robber of life, a thief of liberty and breath. The totalitarians in government are also robbers of life when they try to force people into submission of totalitarian policies, and are thieves of liberty by theft of God given constitutional rights.
